Donetick

Donetick is an open-source web app and server that helps individuals and groups organize tasks and chores. It is designed for families and teams to manage shared responsibilities through a web application that can be deployed via Docker or as a standalone binary. The software focuses on collaborative task management and intelligent scheduling to ensure a fair distribution of work among users.

The application is built for versatility in how tasks are tracked and completed. It supports various deployment environments, including a specialized dashboard view optimized for wall-mounted displays or shared tablets, allowing multiple users to quickly pick their accounts and mark tasks as done. Mobile access is provided through an Android APK and an iOS app via TestFlight, ensuring that chore management remains accessible outside the home.

To prevent premature completion, the software allows for completion restrictions, making tasks only completable within a specific window before the due date. The system also incorporates a points-based gamification layer and comprehensive analytics to track completion status and label breakdowns.
