Ikiform is an open-source, self-hosted web app that provides a web-based platform for creating, managing, and analyzing interactive forms. The software is deployed as a server application and includes a dedicated dashboard for administrators and form creators to oversee their data collection processes.

The platform allows users to build forms through a visual editor or via AI assistance. It handles the entire lifecycle of a survey, from initial design and theme customization to the collection of submissions and the analysis of resulting data. Public forms are accessible via unique slugs, while creators manage their assets through an authenticated backend that separates public facing forms from administrative controls.

The application is built using a modern TypeScript stack, utilizing Next.js with the App Router, React, and Tailwind CSS. It relies on Supabase for backend services, database management, and identity handling. To ensure stability, the project incorporates Playwright for end-to-end testing and UI regression coverage, including a specific internal test harness route for verification.
