NextcloudPi is an open-source server distribution and installer designed for hosting a private cloud on small boards and virtual machines. The system is built on Debian and includes a stack consisting of Apache with HTTP2, PHP 8.1, MariaDB, and Redis for memory caching. It includes specific optimizations such as APCu and Zend OPcache to improve performance on low-resource hardware. To ensure stability and security, it incorporates HSTS, Cron jobs for system maintenance, and security audits via Lynis and Debsecan. Users can manage the server through a dedicated web interface on port 4443 or via the command line using the ncp-config tool, which handles tasks like USB drive mounting and RAM log configuration.
