Personal Management System is a self-hosted web application that serves as a central hub for organizing personal data and productivity tasks. It functions as a personal content management system, allowing users to consolidate information that is typically spread across multiple cloud services into a single private instance. The system provides a structured environment for tracking daily life, finances, and digital assets in one location.

The software is deployed as a server-side application and requires a separate frontend to operate. It is designed to run on local hardware, such as a Raspberry Pi, within a home network without requiring internet access to maintain data privacy. This deployment model ensures that sensitive personal information remains on the local network rather than on external servers.

Key features

  • Password management with encrypted database storage and a frontend copy button
  • Financial tracking for monthly spending, bills, and owed money
  • Contact organization for backing up phone and email details
  • Goal and todo list tracking with a dedicated payments submodule
  • Schedule management for recurring tasks with dashboard notifications
  • Image, video, and file galleries with masonry layouts and lightboxes
  • Job tracking for after-hours work and yearly holiday balances
  • Note taking with category organization for quick information storage
  • Travel planning with support for images and map links

Built using the Symfony PHP framework, the system follows a logic similar to traditional CRM or CMS platforms. It is designed for users with development knowledge who wish to write their own extensions or add custom modules to fit specific personal needs. The architecture allows for the creation of read-only reports based on existing database entries, which helps users analyze their tracked data over time. The system also includes an issues module for tracking pending cases that require resolution and a shopping list for future purchases.

This application is positioned as a private, extensible tool for individuals who prefer local data ownership over third-party cloud storage.
