Sink

Sink is an open-source, self-hosted web app and server for compressing long URLs into shorter versions and managing them through a centralized dashboard. The software is designed to run as a serverless application on Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Pages, removing the need for traditional server maintenance.

Users deploy the application to their own Cloudflare account to manage link redirection and track visitor data. It is intended for individuals or organizations that require a private link management system with granular control over their redirects. The system allows for the creation of short links that can be distributed across social media, emails, or marketing campaigns while maintaining ownership of the underlying data.

The application is built using the Nuxt framework and styled with Tailwind CSS and shadcn-vue. It utilizes Cloudflare Workers KV for data storage and the Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine for tracking. To extend its utility, the project includes several companion tools such as a Chrome browser extension, a Raycast extension, and Apple Shortcuts for faster link creation. It also provides an OpenAPI specification, allowing users to integrate the link management functionality into other workflows via an MCP proxy.
