Spree Commerce

Spree Commerce is an open-source headless commerce platform that provides a REST API and a TypeScript SDK. It is designed to serve as a backend for various commerce needs, including B2B wholesale, cross-border storefronts, and custom commerce architectures. The software is deployed as a server-side application and includes a production-ready storefront built with Next.js 16, React 19, and Tailwind CSS 4.

Users can manage their projects through a dedicated CLI that handles booting the stack, running migrations, and interacting with the Admin API directly via terminal commands. The platform supports multiple sales channels, allowing a single backend to power various storefronts, mobile apps, or points of sale, each with its own specific product sets, pricing, and shipping rules.
