Toonflow-app is an open-source AI workstation for creating animated short dramas, serving as an alternative to proprietary AI video production pipelines. It converts novels and scripts into visual content by integrating scriptwriting, storyboarding, and video generation into a single workflow. The software is available as a cross-platform desktop application for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and can also be deployed via Docker for server-side use.

The application organizes the production process through a non-linear interface where users manage scripts, characters, and assets. It utilizes a multi-layered agent system to handle task decomposition and quality review, ensuring consistency across generated scenes.
