A self-hosted task and project management system with hierarchical organization and CalDAV synchronization support.

tududi is a self-hosted web application for task and project management. It uses a hierarchical organization system to help users categorize work through the use of areas, projects, tasks, and notes. This structure allows for the grouping of projects into broader areas, while projects themselves can contain multiple tasks and associated text notes.
The application is deployed as a server, typically via Docker, and is accessible through a web browser. It provides a responsive interface for use on desktops, tablets, and mobile phones, and includes a versioned API for integration with external tooling. Users can manage their daily workflow by filtering tasks into categories such as Today, Upcoming, and Someday, and can order these lists by name, priority, or due date.
Built with Node.js, Express, and React, the software is designed for individuals and teams who require private data hosting. It supports collaboration through project sharing and offers enterprise-ready authentication features like Just-In-Time user provisioning and admin role assignment based on email domains. The CalDAV implementation allows the system to work with clients such as Apple Reminders, Thunderbird, and tasks.org, utilizing RRULE for recurring task support and AES-256-GCM for encrypted password storage.
It serves as a comprehensive productivity system for those following GTD methodologies or requiring structured project tracking with a focus on data privacy.
